Yasuke concept

Starting a new personal project, still inspired by the Journey to the west illustrations i previously made, i decided to move to Japan concepts and that's when i came to find Yasuke's story. So i took a shot at making his character, i used Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as a model for the character, i just love the actor and i think he looks just perfect for the role.
Quick disclaimer tho, i haven't owned a gaming console in almost 10 years (depressing, i know), so i didn't knew anything about Ghost of Tsushima until a brother in law told me how this design resembled Jin's Ghost outfit. Just wanted to point out the coincidence because it sure look very similar to me, but i had already finished the concept and honestly, i don't really care, i like how he looks 😝
