New Je'Daii order breakdown

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of these characters nor this is a Lucasfilm related project. This is merely a fan-art on steroids made for my own growth as an artist and by pure love to the franchise.

I needed to challenge myself with a full-blown design fest so what better to practice than something i'm so obsessed with as Star Wars, am i right??
The purpose of all this load of work is to make a series of illustrations related to Rey's new Je'daii order.
Why Je'Daii you ask? Well considering that Luke's first lesson to Rey in TLJ was to renounce the idea that the light side of the force was the absolute right and that the Jedi were some omniscient perfect beings and embrace the balance between the light and the dark side, it makes sense that deep beneath her study of the ancient Jedi texts, she came to study the Je'daii ways and decided to bring back the order without the flawed rejection to force-sensitive weapons.

I started this project designing a simple bedroom. Initially this was thought as Finn's quarters, however i kept it as a more generic room.

Next i designed the training grounds. This is the main training space for the new Je'daii padawans.

The new academy is located in an ancient Kyber cristal temple, like the one on Ilum, located on Jheda in a region untouched by that Death Star single-reactor blow seen in Rogue One.

Next comes the character design. For Rey i wanted a style that respected her outfit in the sequels, however these options didn't quite feel like "Grand Master" material.

Same for the first two in this group. The last one was the chosen design.

Jannah's outfit was inspired by the second Rey design in the previous image, i merely played with the colors and her hairstyles.

These are the final designs for the three higher-rank memebers of the new Je'daii. You can find Finn's design process in this post.

I needed more padawans to live in this space, so i started playing with different species to have interesting shape dynamics.

I wanted some droids to help populate these enviroments. I'm not particularly experienced with designing droids or robots, so it was kind of a challenge haha.
